WCAA Trophies and Awards

General Awards.

The Ellis Trophy is awarded to the Warwickshire athlete who achieves the best performance in any event (other than endurance events) and any competition anywhere in the world.
The Endurance trophy is equivalent to the Ellis trophy but for endurance events only.

Track and Field Championships Awards.

There are three awards made after the County Track and Field Championships.
(1)    The Warwick Vase is awarded to the Club whose members achieve the highest total of points. The points awarded are 8 for a win down to 1 point for 8th position but for finals only.
(2)    The Coronation Cup goes to the best 1500m performance by an athlete of any age and either gender (but it must be at least a AAA standard grade 1 performance).
(3)    An award is given to the athlete who achieves the best performance in each age/gender group. The best performance overall is awarded the Jack Hartley trophy.

Cross Country Individual Awards

The individual winner and the winning team of each age/gender race are awarded a trophy.
(1)    Each individual female winner is awarded a Helen Wright Shield.
(2)    Each individual male winner except for the Seniors is awarded a Ken Dare Shield. The winning Senior Man is awarded the Harry Lapworth Memorial Trophy.

The Graham Heeley Trophy is awarded to the Club whose teams score the highest number of points overall.

Road Running Awards.

(1)    The first three individual males and females overall receive an award. The winner of the U20, Senior, O35, O45, O55 and O65 age groups of each gender receive an award.
(2)    The winning male and female teams receive a shield. The winning male and female masters teams receive a shield.
